I thought that too. It wasn't up to the standard of the first episode. But, she did find her Tardis.

I didn't mind it, they are still setting the character of the new Dr and you can understand the cloth monster, putting the two extra suns in the sky must have cost a fortune.

I like her new sonic screwdriver much better than the sunglasses too they were absurd.

Re: Female Doctor Who

We all enjoyed it again it's always good seeing reactions of characters seeing inside the tardis for the first time. Typing tardis isn't easy auto correct keeps changing it to yard is so apologies if future posts say that

I thought the second episode was a bit bland too. I also think she needs to relax a bit and speak a bit slower.

Yes, she does rattle on, non-stop. It is a bit irritating.

Yes, it was a stellar budget.

I didn't think much of the Capaldi sunglasses either.

I caught the second episode yesterday, not as good as the first but I shall defer judgement.

Do you think she's trying to emulate the eccentric behaviour of the first Doctor played by Christopher Eccleston after the hiatus?

Re: Female Doctor Who

I think she's making it hers not copying anyone so far. It'll be interesting to see if she can keep up the over excitedness though as I was exhausted just watching her.

Re: Female Doctor Who

She needs to tone the over-excitedness down a bit. It makes her seem like she's out of her depth in situations.
