Here Comes Boris' Deal

... which will be another stitch up based on Theresa May's appalling effort.

Rumours have it that labour will table an amendment for a second referendum so expect more betrayal and more treatchery from those bastards in the house of commons on Saturday

With an election likely to be only weeks away, I wonder how many MPs will realise that it's a "Heads you Lose, Tails you Lose", situation, for them.

i.e. If they vote against any deal the Majority will know exactly who they are, at election time.

If Remainers vote For the Deal their constituents will know that as well.

Happy Days!

Jo Swinson talks absolute shit. Such an annoying person who seems to get great satisfaction out of delivering character assassinations.

She hadn't had time to read the text, before condemning it.

Just another Scot ganging together. She hasn't even got any qualifications of any worth apart from a might mouth.

Re: Here Comes Boris' Deal

Hi

It is not a Deal at all.

It is simply a variation of Mays Withdrawal Agreement with more concessions made by Boris

If approved by Parliament, negotiations then start on a Deal, the contents of which will not be known for another year.

In the meantime life goes on as usual.

The backstop was meant as a safeguard if a trade deal wasn't struck during the transition period of two years. Now after four years NI has to chose/vote on the alternative backstop, in in case a trade deal has not been struck. after another four years again, if a deal still has not been agreed. And after eight years again. So closing a trade deal between EU and UK could take 16 years!?

Well, boris has found the loophole in the benn bill. If saturday the HoC votes down this deal, they vote for a no deal exit on 31 october. Thus fullfilling condition 2 of article 1 of the European Union (Withdrawal) (No. 2) Act 2019. Boris and varadkar have worked out a way to push the HoC into accepting May's deal minus.

Yep, I posted this scenario about 2 weeks ago on here but didn't get much support - I think that the EU Law supersedes the Benn Bill anyway so we leave under the conditions of A50 and not the UK law under the Benn arrangements.
