Re: Coronavirus: Dominic Cummings visited parents' home while he had symptoms

This MONSTER!! Really cinders
My word the contortions remainers go through to get their way?
They talk of arrogance whilst trying to trample on the only example
of the people beating the establishment in hundreds of years!!
There is anger, and it is mine at these self centred, know it alls
now seeking to enlist us common muck to do their job for them!!
I hope we have learned something from recent events and see
through all this hysterical meaningless, uproar being manufactured
by a disgruntled establishment and defeated opposition??
GET OVER IT!
On the cummings issue, did any of these rabid dogs understand
the meaning of SELF ISOLATE??

Anna Turley was a Labour MP, making the point that you reap what you sow.

Re: Coronavirus: Dominic Cummings visited parents' home while he had symptoms

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-new...aimed-22088430

In his pre-prepared statement read out at yesterday’s news conference, chief advisor to the prime minister Dominic Cummings said: "For years, I have warned of the dangers of pandemics. Last year I wrote about the possible threat of coronaviruses and the urgent need for planning."

Such prescience would indeed have been impressive and helpful, and he does have a long-standing and well-known interest in mathematical modelling and big data.
But .....

The relevant post on Dominic Cummings’ personal blog, dated March 2019, appears to have been edited on April 14th this year, the day he returned to work after self-isolating in Durham.
The internet archive Wayback Machine, which tracks the changing versions of publicly available websites, shows that the blog was edited some time between 9 April and 3 May this year (after the pandemic started) to insert the reference to coronavirus and Chinese labs.

It is in the form of a new quote from an article already linked to in the Bulletin of Atomic Scientists. It was not in the original blog.

And the sitemap of Mr Cumming's blog corroborates this, showing that this post was indeed edited at 20:55:20 on the evening of 14 April this year, still available here. This happens to be the day Mr Cummings returned to work from his Durham trip.

It is a mystery why he felt the need to burnish his credentials as a coronavirus sage so much that he pointed to having explicitly warned about something that was only added to his blog after the event.
A coward, a liar and now ..... a cheat .....

Coronavirus: Why did Dominic Cummings say he predicted it?

I guess it must really rankle to have to accept that it's all over and DC has been totally exonerated!

Never mind eh!

A bit of hypocrisy from some quarters without the attendant abuse. SNP's Ian Blackford travelled even further than Dominic Cummins to get from his home in London to the Isle of Skye by car and ferry. He could have stayed in London.

Re: Coronavirus: Dominic Cummings visited parents' home while he had symptoms

Dominic Cummings may have been foolhardy to protect his child and and made a mistake which he is paying for now and also his wife who are being jeered at when out
People forget how a hard he worked during the past months
and are out in their millions, Sword Rattling.

The Media are no better and there are so many more important things to solve just now.
Thousand have flaunted the rules re; isolation and even on TV a teenage girl said they all meet at a each others homes and partied every night
And, another thing. The people who lied and said they saw Cummings at various places which was total fabrication should account for their lies.

In anycase there has always been 'One law for the Goverenment and MP's' and another Law for others.
Isn't that the fact?
