Shades of green

I was resting with a cuppa from work in the garden, in the shade away from the sun's scorching rays burning my skin -

I put my feet up and slurped my tea and looked around.

I've never noticed, I mean really noticed, (or even thought) how many different shades of green there are. I couldn't count all the different shades in just one small area of my garden. Then I looked at all the different trees - even more shades of green.

I've just had a Google and apparently there are 295 different shades of green!

I appreciate the shades of green in the garden. There are flowers in it but not that many compared to most gardens. Nothing planted out every year, no bedding plants etc. The impression mostly is that it's green. I prefer it that way.
