Guildford Cathedral

Taken in 1967 with a Yashica 44LM twin lens camera and BW film. Bought it for taking Superslides with 127 film. Sold it when 127 going out of fashion.
Bronze panels, one for each of the main doors.

Re: Guildford Cathedral

Interesting photos Dobra. I go to Guildford sometimes but have never been to the Cathedral.

Re: Guildford Cathedral

They were framed in tatty frames in an old box of pictures in the attic. New frames after scanning - now where to hang them.........

Would they look out of place fixed to doors somewhere? Not quite as grand a Cathedral door but just a suggestion.

Re: Guildford Cathedral

73 now. But as a child I remember visiting Guildford cathedral back in the 50’s whilst it was being built and buying a brick to support its construction.

Sorry for hijacking your thread and changing the subject but you brought back floods of memories.
