Oh,sooner or later we'll whack into something coming the other way,spitty. It's inevitable that a rock whizzing through a void will meet another rock doing ditto,but on a different trajectory. But don't worry;it's not likely to happen before next Sunday,mate.

I strongly suspect they've buggered up the ozone layer with the use of the various HAARP arrays. That would mean there are one or more holes (which we have known for years) and that would let in more heat and radiation. So the odd hot spells that happen for seemingly no reason are likely caused by the fact that a sizeable hole is passing over your county.
