Of course not but the many of the people who live in Boston are of Irish ancestry and Boston among others was a traditional supporter of NORAID -sending funds to the IRA cowards in order to murder innocent people .
Suddenly they knew the horror of what happens when terrorists explode a bomb in the middle of a defenceless civilian population in all its terrible reality.

There is a huge difference between a freedom fighter and a terrorist.First, a freedom fighter stands on his own territory.
Second, a freedom fighter attacks those who are attempting to conquer, ie foreign troops.
Third, a freedom fighter does NOT knowingly AND deliberately murder innocent civilians.
A terrorist is the polar opposite of all the above.
Thus the IRA were/are terrorists because they routinely murdered innocent civilians with bombs set to explode in the midst of civilian crowds
The Viet Cong were terrorists because they routinely murdered completely innocent civilians. AND they were NOT fighting for freedom. They were fighting to oppress their own fellow countrymen and institute communism.
Radical Islamic fundamentalists are terrorists because they routinely murder innocent civilians in an attempt to bring about a world-wide Islamic state.
Moreover, there is a huge difference between accidentally killing innocent civilians and deliberately, with malice of fore-thought, murdering civilians.
During WW2 the French resistance were freedom fighters who were attempting to drive the German invaders from French soil.
During The Revolutionary War, Americans were fighting against foreign tyranny. AND they attacked ONLY the British army.
During WW2 the Philippine resistance fought to drive the Japanese invaders from Philippine soil.
During the fight for India's independence, British General Dyer, knowingly and with malice of fore-thought, murdered 1,500 peaceful, men, women and children Indian citizens at the Amritsa Massacre and thus was a terrorist. You will please note that General Dyer was a rogue officer and did not represent British Government policy and certainly not the wishes of the average Brit.
In war, any war, every war, there will occasionally be a rogue soldier or small group of soldiers, who violate the orders of their own commanding officers and the policy of their government.
