I was afraid that it may be cellulitis, and that is why they are calling you tomorrow, because it is quite serious and the first stage of treatment is antibiotics.
When you speak to you Pharmacist again, tell him that a friend was very impressed with him, because if it is cellulitis, early diagnosis and treatment are essential.
I would also remind the old bat at the surgery that Pharmacist are authorized to give medical advice, but doctors receptionist are not.
Keep your eye on it and make sure you get the care you need!
I am at the other end of the phone if you are concerned
Yes, he really was a good chap wasn't he
Twink.
Wonder if he'd look at my gate post for me.
I was kinda half thinking should I go or not, when I got this phone call from a lady who nagged me and made me go.
At the mo, it is even bigger now. Just measured it and it is now 5" long by 4" wide, and is that hot you could probably fry an egg on it. I hope I get some sleep alright.
I wish she'd have just given me the Penicillan and done with.
Nicol, I remember trying the hot spoon treatment once, but it nearly shot me through the ceiling!
Guess it must have been a bit too hot.
I never tried again.
Omah,
Tiff was right, they have got the 'Incognito' at Saisbury's, and what's more, it's on offer at the mo.
I'll pop in tomorrow when I'm in town, and get some to try.
Thank you both.
