That's amazing Azure. I had no idea we could grow it successfully over here. I have admired it abroad for many years.

I think that is because it is an Oleander.
Bourgianvilleas as a rule have different leaves, thorns and papery flowers.
Its very beautiful though.

Yes, Panda, I have checked and it is an oleander, although sold as a Bougainvillaea at the Garden Centre

Yes, it is amazing. Longdogs especially as it is an Oleander
The heat has brought out many more flowers this year.
