We will still have a huge Trade Deficit, simply because we no longer manufacture .

When the 2nd biggest contributor leaves and the 27 go into decline, then the EU decide to increase the budget from last time there is only one option where to find that money.

You will pay and you will suffer

Hi

Bread, it has yet to be seen what happens.

We are still paying in and part of the single market until the end of this year..

We still have a huge exit payment to make, most of which will be paid in the next 2 years.

The EU is not going to run out of money anytime soon.

I really am not bothered about what the EU does, more concerned that we make a success of things.

You seem really anxious about our future welfare. I admire you for that samaritan attitude, you're a true christian.

Hi

Trade Details from the Government.

We import from loads of countries, a huge part of our economy is foreign owned companies based here and supplying the EU.

We are hugely in debt to the International Money Markets..

We need to Export to earn Foreign Currency.

Japan is seeking a Free Trade Agreement with us, but all these things take time.

There are many different measures of debt

The UK's foreign debt is blanced by its foreign assets.

Public debt as a percentage of GDP places the UK 20th , below Japan , USA, France, Italy, Belgium, Spain, Portugal, Greece and the projection from 2019-2013 is for that to fall further for the UK.

I understand all of the above Swimmy!
But l ask again, what has been paying the + -- £80 B trade deficit
plus£10 ---- £20Billion yearly contributions to the EU for the last
40 yrs?
If we have been borrowing the money then it is obvious we cannot
afford to be a member of EU??
If, as l suspect, are earning enough from our trade, whatever it is
with the rest of the world, but then use those earnings to make up
our deficit with EU, Then it is not worth being in the EU either??
Perhaps you can help me understand how uk has existed for the
last 40 odd years??

What would our foreign assets be Moscow, and what would their
approx value be?
I see we are in a better position than Japan and France, which
surprises me!
America seems to work with different rules to other countries so
we cant compare with them!

The value of UK foreign assets is almost £11trillion..........Yes, TRILLION

A lot of the debt that Swimfeeders claims is owed to foreign banks/ financial institutions is in fact owed to ourselves.

One third of UK debt....Is to its future self.

Swimmy conveniently obscures the true nature of our debt and is disingenuous with the facts........Typical Remainer tactic.

Truth is UK debt is manageable, desirable and shrinking.

One good way to shrink our national debt is to Buy British where possible

I've just bought 2 new settees . Had a choice of British or Chinese ( It's important to ask) .....I bought the British sofas made by Alstons of Colchester.
