Do You Find It Difficult To Disagree With People You Like?

This happens in real life and on forums too.
You like someone but you don’t always agree with what they have to say. It might be generally in conversation or in a discussion.
Do you keep quiet and not say anything as you just want a quiet life?
Do you say it and take the chance that you will lose their friendship?
Do you just agree with them, so as to not upset them?
Do you just say what you feel as you wouldn’t feel true to yourself to be false?

It’s difficult isn’t it? I’m afraid, l have to say what l feel if l disagree and take the consequences.

If I don't have someone to argue with, friend or foe, I will argue with myself.

I am usually diplomatic having been in business for years and dealing with the public.

I will say "I do not agree" politely, but would never say!
B""////////#s to you.
Or 'Close your mouth and give your arse a chance", as my straight talking husband would say.

No one dared answer him back especially as he was sixteen stone nearly 6 FT and very loud.

I try to be diplomatic, as I too meet a lot of people.
I never need to argue with friends we all think the same way & agree with one another.
I do sometimes agrue with my Daughter, she can be very bossy & then says I am not assertive enough, so I try to be, but, that is wrong too.

I suppose, it’s the way you say it that counts and accepting that someone is not always going to agree with you.

Saying all that, it’s still difficult!

Azure, l love how when you disagree with a man, that you usually refer to them as ‘Sir’ in your reply.
You are so professional!

You can’t win! Tiffany.
Diplomacy is a very good thing to have in conversation and discussion but sometimes it’s hard!
