With two months to go before the US presidential election, former vice-president Joe Biden, the Democratic party’s nominee, is polling ahead of incumbent Republican president Donald Trump in key battleground states, though he has seen his lead narrow in some states since the summer. In Wisconsin, where Mr Trump won by a razor thin margin in 2016, Mr Biden currently holds a 6 point lead. In Florida, where Covid cases soared during the summer, Mr Biden leads Mr Trump by about 4 percentage points. Mr Biden also holds a narrow lead in Arizona, a state only one Democratic presidential candidate has won in the past 70 years, and an even narrower one in North Carolina, which has voted Republican in nine out of the last 10 presidential elections. In Texas, the difference in poll numbers between the two men is less than 5 percentage points, also suggesting a close race in November in the quintessential red state.
National polls show Mr Biden at a significant advantage. White seniors in particular, a group that helped propel Mr Trump to victory in 2016, have shown signs of disapproval towards the president's handling of the pandemic.

The polls suggest Mr Biden is ahead in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin - three industrial states his Republican rival won by margins of less than 1% to clinch victory in 2016.

Joe Biden is border-line senile and doesn't know what day it is half the time. Any replies to answers at meetings, he reads off an autocue. Biden is the acceptable face of the DP and will be controlled (if by some freak of chance he actually gets elected) by others, probably Hilary Clinton as she has no chance of getting elected herself because:
a) she is a woman (tut, tut. Can't have a female president), and
b) because she is Hilary Clinton and nobody likes her.
So come the election, it will be the choice between two buffoons, an orange one with a dodgy wig, or a daft old groper.

It's quite interesting that the Constitution was compiled to apply to the WHITE immigrants principally from England in order to set out a latter-day Magna Carta to eliminate all the discrimination they had experienced in the Old World and them alone. It was do-gooders who came along later and who mainly for political reasons set about attacking the South undermining the Southern economy. The rest is very unfortunate history based on a nonsense.
