I thought brexit was over ??

If brexit is over, as some on these columns have insisted, what is
the reason for the sudden increase of dialogue between UK & EU ??
With Barmier calling the UK pirates, and Lord Frosty breaking his
silence and calling for the EU to to radically changed its stance on
the NI protocol !!
Frosty is also calling for the British civil servants to shed their
Pro EU outlook and accept that we have left the EU , and to tackle
problems in a more positive manner and not consistently put
obstacles in the way of progress ??
So, what has changed, sounds like the same old story of
establishment versus the people to me ??
There are now rumours of a rift in the cabinet over the Australian
trade deal where some members of cabinet want to put tariffs on
Australian agricultural imports thus increasing the price of food
in UK, instead of lowering it ??
I never had any faith in Gove from day one, perhaps he should go ??

Irish Protocol is unfinished business. That will need to be sorted out pdq. Plus I'm sure there will be further tweaks needed to sort out any trade friction and fishing will rumble on.

According to today's DE, Boris is going to call Force Majeure on the NI protocol if the EU doesn't do something ASAP.

There were those who said it was all over, done and dusted, push it into the corner & worry about something else.

I don't think they could see the flaws in the agreements, the troubles growing in NI, and all that.

Personally, I'm sorry that the Brexit forum seems to have be partially de-legged!

There is so much left to keep an eye on.
