BL M protests v DC Trip??
Yesterdays BLM protests across uk , in which protesters triedin vain to provoke the old Bill into some sort ot reaction to promote
their cause further! Police responded with great restraint imo and
indeed the protesters were lucky that they were protesting in uk in the
provocating manner they did?
The provocation appeared to be instigated by some celebrity type
individuals who repeatedly attempted to upset the front line
policemen by engaging the officers in coversations accompanied
by gesticulations and close approaches to the officers!
I must say that the officers showed no sign of getting angry and
behaved admirably throughout, unlike some of the crowd!
Seeing this demo brings the furore over one man travelling to
scotland recently and the mass breaking of corona virus rules
yesterday into perspective?
I hope these people gt back to work soon as the devil makes work
for idle hands they say!!

BLM protestors were able to topple AND carry of a statue offfrom a plinth in a main square in Bristol today without any
interference from local police???
How was this possible??
Thy were even able to dump the statue into the harbour completely
unhindered by the cops?
Could it be that all the Bristol cops had been drafted to London?
Or were the local constabulary completely taken by surprise by
these protests?
There shold be no difficulty in locating most o the culprits as very
clear video shold be available t the cops and the faces and
clothing of these hooligans were clearly visible?
BUT WHERE WERE THE COPS???

I wonder, if any of those "students" that have been arrested over the last couple of weekends, have been given more than a "slap on the wrist" by Plod? If so, couldn't their University or College rescind their place even if they are close to graduating?

I well remember the various cause célèbre that were vogue while I was reading for my Bachelor's degree. Septics out of Vietnam was the biggie along with anti blood sports, women's rights and gay rights being the big ones.I was much too busy to be arsed with any of them but if I HAD to get active it would be in support of America out of Vietnam followed by anti bloodsports.
I guess it was the similarity of the two that would explain that.
