I read this as BoJo being successful in the transition nonsense and standing firm over fishing rights.

This way if he is given the bums rush by the electorate he will be able to play the "it wouldn't have happened if you'd returned me to power" if we do keep our fishing rights and the "well I did my best for you" otherwise.

Of course come elections he could and probably would be
completely destroyed? As could have happened when Boris
