Strange plant/shrub

Does anyone have a clue about this may be? Never seen anything like it before.

Please tell Rosemary I said .thank you. Berry. I have not seen or heard of one of those before. I spotted it in someone's garden - but hadn't the nerve to knock on their door and ask! It is rather pretty.

I've never heard of that one with Tabs.

Apparently they can grow to 6 mtrs high, so they are large shrubs and
are native to China, Korea, Taiwan, Japan, India, and the Philippines.
