BBC Bias

Many have long thought the BBC have been biased and even more so now.
Hardly surprising when we find out that they receive £millions in funding from the EU, and almost certainly that would be the EU's back-up for eventually moving in and taking over another industry.

If you feel strongly there is now a petition to sign for a public inquiry.

Re: BBC Bias

The left see right wing bias and the right see left wing bias to me that means they are doing a decent job of staying pretty neutral. But the EU bias IMO can be seen by everyone, their political shows often have 4 or 5 remainers and a token leaver.

Re: BBC Bias

Is this a new thread from last week's thread about the BBC being biased or have all the previous posts been deleted?

Re: BBC Bias

Thing is, the petition is going to Parliament. The BBC will always be supported by the government and they're more corrupt and biased than the BBC are!

Looks like that particular petition was closed and has been discussed in parliament already. The upshot was that it's the duty of OFCOM to monitor the BBC and it's perceived bias and not the government.

A whitewash?

No Judd, it's not closed. It can run for 6 months and the deadline on this is 17th June 2019. (tells you on the link to the petition)
After 10,000 signatures Parliament has to give a response . After 100,000 signatures it is considered for debate in Parliament.

The same applies to any petition.
