Re: Have you got a pedometer or health app?

I lost mine in the move but around 10,000 steps was a slow day.

Re: Have you got a pedometer or health app?

Hi

I had a Fitbit.

Now replaced with a Smartwatch which records my steps and heart rate.

As part of my new PTSD Treatment, which treats both mind and body, I have a dedicated Physio and access to specialists.

I have new insoles to control my gait, a new exercise regime

The difference is amazing.

I found walking difficult, but as those who have met me know, I hid it well.

Stopping often to look at some thing interesting, The pain was such I needed to rest.

I can now walk half a mile with no pain at all.

The muscles in my injured leg are getting more developed, which makes walking easier.

I will never be able to run again, such is life.

Walking will do me fine.

I have one clipped to my belt as I type. Warning crotch shot!

I have had it for years - I try to get 10000 a day, sometimes get double that figure sometimes fall short.

I have a free app on my phone called Keep Walking that records where I have been though I often forget to turn on 'location' which means it turns off. It does steps too though I have never calibrated it because I have the pedometer.

My phone once recorded 15000steps during just one shopping trip!
That's about 800 calories
Who says retail therapy isn't good for you?!

It depends whether you are buying paper clips or patisserie!

Just a quicky Rhian, Oxygen saturation is the amount of oxygen in the blood, anything from 90% to 100% is normal.
When you rest you don't breath so heavily as you do during exercise and the lungs don't need to keep the muscles oxygenated so much, so they reduce the uptake.....

Stand near me and I'll get it up to 100%....
