I've decided to get the first four series box set from Ebay, as you recommended. I'll pick it up pretty cheap. I'll buy the new season when it comes out after being on TV.

An excellent decision Floydy

One thing I keep asking myself , does Cillian Murphy really smoke all those cigarettes he lights up ? I worry about him !

I've just caught up with the latest two episodes, and yes, it's as good as ever. Time obviously has moved on, (1929), and the family is still at odds with each other, and other gangs. Apparently there has been a surge in the names of Arthur & Ada being given to newborns, and some fellows opting for one of them pudding basin haircuts that Tommy sports. I'll pass on that one!

According to some reports, he smoked 1,000 cigarettes for just one series.

I remember a while back something like this when an actor in Coronation Street explained that the Thwaites Ale isn't real beer etc.
Imagine 90 year old Emily Bishop sipping away at her Babycham all day long. She'd be anybody's!
