Are you having a local or being put right out ? I was out for both.
Me too! Inherited from my mother!

I opted for local, and did the same for my earlier cataract operation. I didn't feel a thing as they must have very effective local anaesthetics, so am hoping for the same for my upcoming op which, of course, is likely to take twice as long.

Well nice to meet another myopic soul. I too inherit it from my Mother.
I must admit, I very gladly accepted the General when it was offered. Have had a C section under local with no problems, but couldn't bear the thought of seeing it, however blurred it might be.
Is it this Thursday you have it done ?

Yes, Thursday.

I must confess that I have never had a C-section.

Haha haha I would have been very surprised to hear that you had had a c section
Thought it just served to prove that I wasn't a complete wimp when it came to having ops with a local.
I really do wish you all the best and look forward to hearing about the experience afterwards.

Ah, but how do you know that I'm not one of those 'transitioning things' we hear so much about these days?

Thank you.
