I support the Donkey Sanctuary in Devon. There are so many abused ones that have lives of hell, aren't there.

BTW, I don't believe a word of it when you say you felt neglected at times.
Honestly Mups l did! I admire you for donkey support,2 of mine
were from rspca,so l share your concerns about donkeys, and
indeed about all animals, but donkeys are particularly at risk due
to their ability to do work for humans, who dont allways reward
them appropiately,my two soon fattened up,and became quite
naughty, but they were neutered, and so submitted to my exsisting
male who was not after some initial negotiations among
themselves and they always followed him everywhere.
I named them all after prominent SA politicians who shall remain
nameless.

Best Regards, Donkeyman

PS. I see some mistakes on full stops etc, sorry.

It doesn't take long for animals to adapt does it. Even my pond fish know when I'm about to feed them, so they all come up to the top of the pond. They just need to hear me walking up the garden.

Going back to the original post, like I said, I give my cats attention all the time throughout the day, whereas they only respond when they feel like it - or when I have food.

They always seem to have the upper hand, don't they.

Olivia has taken to either bashing the blinds or opening the DVD player when she is demanding food.
