When my son left to go to Uni I thought he would never return and I cried for days , he came home again for a couple of years after leaving Uni.He progressed to sharing a house with friends and coming home for lunch most days.
Then he got married but still comes home for lunch a couple of times a week

I only have one daughter but she finally left home a year last May she now lives about 20 miles away but she works locally and still keeps her horse over here so we see her regularly sometimes very fleetingly though... My dog has decided she likes her bedroom and has taken it over she cuddles her teddies..Sue

Yes I must admit that the 2am coming in after the clubs was a bit tiresome when I had to be up at 5am for work and our front door isn't the quietest in the world as it has a chime when opened but I do miss having her here now she is gone.... She also is very career minded and has no aspirations of having children so it looks as if I am not to be a granny
