I was out at six this morning (in my dressing gown) checking the pond still had a bit of running water. Brrrrrrrrr!

My tip for the cold weather is, keep warm. We have a wood fire in the lounge room the wood stove in the kitchen is burning and the wood pellet heating is running. It's nice and warm in here.

A woman from Siberia was on TV tonight laughing because its -2 here and there its -34. She said schools dont close unless it gets down to -45.

Her tips were wear lots of layers, drink hot chocolate and eat plenty of protein.

It's -10° here at the moment with a howling east wind. It's not very pleasant but where we live it's not uncommon. Complaining about it doesn't help, if you know what I mean.

Ha ha very true. I think extreme weather can be quite exciting but only if you are safe and warm.

I don't know. I haven't seen real snow since I was a kid.
