I am SO pleased Mups, I know that you were frustrated that there might not have been any follow through, so it must be some relief that there was some sort of accountability.

Forgive my ignorance in how the legal system works there, but wouldn't this sentence enable you to, in all likelihood, make a successful claim in small claims civil court for the expenses and damages incurred with just the two parties in front of a judge - with hopefully a settlement beforehand?

I think it would be possible here Surfermom but if the guy doesn't have anything of value and no money it's a hiding to nowhere. I'm glad you got some resolution Mups albeit not perfect, I would just move on now
