Re: Time to relax.

I don't have any PJs.
As soon as I get in, out come the tracky bottoms and old jumpers. Heaven

As for bed wear, I never wore anything. Ever.
Well, I lie, if I went in hospital I wore a long T shirt.

Now, I'm horrified with myself. I hate myself even.
This last month, I've finally succumbed to wearing every night a long T shirt. Simply because I'm aware I might flake out in bed. Imagine the horror of The Child finding a her old ma with a withered wrinkly body wearing nowt.
I feel the need to save her from the trauma.

And, it feels bloody awful wearing it.

You came into this world with nothing on Pesta, and it makes no difference if you leave it with nothing on.....If it feels good......DO IT!...x

A little tale about night shirts darlin'.

Many years ago I was in the habit of visiting an old village pub way out in the sticks and got to know some of the local yokels. One night one of these locals came in with his head swathed in bandages. When asked what happened, his reply was "you'd never believe me if I told you".

Turns out his cottage had a glass panneled front door and a letter box right down near the bottom of the door. He was in the habit of wearing a night shirt. One night he hears a noise outside and thinks he's about to be burgled. He grabs a torch and goes to investigate. As he walks past the front door he thinks he hears the noise again outside. Bending over he lifts the flap of the letter box and shines the torch outside. The noise of all this wakes his dog, who was asleep in the kitchen. The dog silently creeps up behind the man, sticks his nose onder the night shirt and licks the man's behind. The shock of this made the man jump and he leaps forward and manages to put his head through the plate glass front door. A true story !!!

Wearing night shirts can be very dangerous to your health and safety!!!
