I've got one.
Why isn't the chicken the biggest and most powerful things in the animal kingdom? Instead, it's one of the most timid, drama queens of a bird there is.
Think about it - they are almost 100% protein except for the feathers and beak. It should be as strong as an ox!
They probably are strong relative to their weight.

If you want a fierce, aggressive, powerful chicken, I'll give you an ostrich!
Not to mention a rhea. One of those would slash your face off as soon as look at you!

They produce all that slime, which much be made from something in their bodies so why do they not get thinner as they move?

Re: You know slugs...

Yuk, I hate slugs!!!
Those big ones the orange colour, like the colour of newborns nappy!

Snails I just tread on, I like the crunch

Mind you if it wasn't for those giant sea slugs, we would never have understood neurons.

I think it's interesting.
Perhaps they absorb moisture from the air.
We might learn something useful for desert travel when Global Warming dries up the rivers

What did the slug say to the snail?

"Big Issue, Big Issue."
