Drug Testing

Has anyone got experience of getting involved with drugs testing for specific health issues?

I've been invited to a Event Registration during which the study will be explained and if I agree, a DNA sample will be taken. Depending on the outcome of the sample, I may be invited to take part in the research project.

It's all in a good cause
My own health will be expertly screened and monitored
I get all my travelling expenses paid
I have a day out shopping!

But.............I'd like to know if anyone has experience of it.

I wouldn't do it even if paid. It's only worth it if you have a rare condition and don't have any hope from existing treatments. It's a risk.

You don't want to benefit from research?

How do you think research is conducted??
