So glad it is now sorted Floydy, do invest in some good earplugs for when you at live music venues. We all use them in my family, not those foam ones.

I can't wear earplugs as they affect my tinnitus, plus I wouldn't want the sound of a great band being distorted.

It's all about the narrowing of my ear canals that is the problem tbh, but at least I'm being monitored now at last

Being in the water so much, I can't help but wonder how your open ear canals would be affected by swimming, especially lakes and oceans.

Might be worth asking. I'd sure hate for you to get an ear infection when you are on vacation.

I hope the suction treatments take care of this issue.

Last year I took some earplugs with me and used them whilst in the pool but they weren't really necessary as I simply avoided swimming underwater. The biggest problem was avoiding being 'dunked' by the grandkids and I had to keep reminding them not to do this.
I'm not great at swimming anyway, so a few widths doing breast stroke was fine for keeping my head above the water.

I'm fine with loud music, Sweetie. As long as I stay away from the speakers. Can't wear earplugs
