camera battery life

Up to now I have been using Nikon EN-EL15 batteries which are ok but now loosing some of their life span. There is now the Nikon EN-EL15a battey available for my camera, even that is out of date with a new "b" version.

I recently purchased one EN-EL15a off ebay at about £20 cheaper than UK prices. Yes I know about the risks but boy did I do well.

I have been trying to see how many photos I can get on one charge, so shooting like mad and still got 79% battery life left from well over 100 pictures taken.

By this time my older batteries would be visiting the charger for a top up.

Re: camera battery life

Ok so far taken 151 photos and including checking on rear camera screen the EN-EL15a battery still has 51% life left in it . It dropped 2% while getting this photo.

That is a far better than i would ever get with the other EN-EL15 batteries. Not forgetting it is also recording onto 2 memory cards
