filmed I believe in South Africa but could be Danish or Swedish or Norwegian - but hits the raw nerves that's for sure! 1870's outback USA!

I didn't realise it was a post-American Civil War era film actually, a subject I'm interested in.
I'll probably buy the DVD.

in the mean time try 'Godless' made for Netflix in 4/5 series but riveting and great musical score - rare western with raunchy women and gunfights - the last battle is amazing took about 10-15 mins to finish with the townswomen joining in of course!!
