Yes, the max is 3 purchases per day at up to £30 each time.
Didn't know if there was a minimum though.

Very Rarely use cash mostly debit card if you have no money in your account then you can't spendThe trouble cash causes is unbelievable one of the reasons supermarkets give cash back so they don't have to

B have it collected by securico
don't know if its still the same but for every pound they banked they only got 95 pence3

both good and bad things behind this decision , obviously it would make crime money traceable etc but if the electronic system ever goes down ( banks often go down losing 24 hours or whatever but people simply revert to cash ) and I think if it was pushed as original OP says compulsory by 2026 ( can’t see it myself ) then I imagine people would ‘save’ and a black market type thing on the street would use the euro or dollar or something|
