Not before time. The UK has the largest parliament in the world so a bit of culling wouldn't go amiss. Trouble is, it will have to be voted on in parliament and I can't see those particular turkeys voting for Christmas.

Its not only a constitutional issue, but a fiscal one too, therefore the HoL may only delay the matter for three years they cannot eliminate it entirely.

Never heard of the woman but she's scots .
I trust she will ensure the scots also pay their own college fees and prescriptions once she has her own parliament

Oh Gawd! This old anti-Scot chestnut again. Strangely enough, we pay taxes as well. Monies come to Holyrood by way of a block grant, it is up to the Scottish Parliament as to how to spend it. It just so happens we believe in education and health for all. Simples.

I be that will change soon it's completely unsustainable .
Yes the Scots do pay taxes but I still think it is subsided by British taxpayers.

Very interesting news we could lose over half the number in both houses and really not miss them IMO
