Re: Arguments

I am sure I have never Actually started an argument with a woman, what's the point? But eventually after all the whining and whingeing, us men have no option but to join in.

Re: Arguments

Happy ending to this, when I went into work this morning she greeted me with a big smile telling me 'he told me he was sorry last night with flowers'
She said in 11 years together that is only the second time he has bought flowers and first time he has said sorry. Happy couple again

Re: Arguments

I found most arguments started with ‘ does my bum look big in this ?’

Re: Arguments

Funny how I missed this thread. Must have appeared at the weekend when I was in another dimension.

Me and Mrs. Floydysaurus don't argue as such, it's the trivial things that cause us to snap at each other such as her moving my things around and i can't find something. That irritates me and I shout at her. We have a bawling match and it's over in seconds.

What does upset her is when I complain about her daughters. She will defend them to the hilt even if they are extremely out of order and won't have a bad word said about them.

Re: Arguments

Some arguments are just too serious to be able to end the day making up. Hurtful or damaging stuff can't just be wiped away with a kiss goodnight, and may go back for years and keep popping up without resolution.

All very cosy to suggest you don't go to bed in a resentful silence, not so easily solved unless the argument is something trivial.

Re: Arguments

Yes, when stuff gets serious, it is a good plan to make Triviality your Pursuit.

Re: Arguments

I like a good argument. When it is civil, deals with known facts or one's interpretation of such facts. Acrimonious I can do without
