Essential oils.

Different ones are said to induce sleep, calmness, feelings of happiness etc...

Does anybody use essential oils and what for?

Do they help?

Re: Essential oils.

I use bio oil (No replacements are acceptable!) as a moisturiser nightly
If I'm giving or receiving massages I put a bit of ylang ylang in the mix too. That's calming.
I had orange oil a while back which spells divine but I felt invigorated rather than calmed with that one... good for post sunbathing/pre night outs

Re: Essential oils.

I use them in the summer quite a bit.
I put some water in the top of one of my oil burners, then add a few drops of whatever I have to hand e.g. Eucalyptus, Lemon Grass, Lavender, Geranium or occasionally Tea Tree, and light the tea light.

Not only is the smell wonderful, they help keep those nasty biting insects out too. They can be a nightmare for me.

Is the Bio Oil ready diluted Rhian?

I know you have to dilute essential oil before applying to skin usually, but I imagine the Bio would already be done?
