The high earners are already paying most of the income tax UJ. Also the tax threshold has risen from £6,475 in 2010 to £11,500 today.

2017-2018 £11,500.00
2018-2019 £11,800.00
2019-2020 £12,000.00

Ahh well, at least 12000 is an easy number to remember.

You do realise that any extra in the poorest paid's wage packets is balanced by the deduction from any in work benefits they may receive so yes I do.
A mate of mine said to great I am going to get an extra £800 because of the tax cuts for the better off, he would much prefer and many are like him that instead the money was put to better use.
