Max is truly a gorgeous dog, Besoeker, and - looking at those two photos - the loyalty works both ways!

Thank you, LQ. He is a lovely fellow. I would say that about my dog of course. But others do too. He is sharp looking in his Tux but much more importantly is his gentle nature. Everybody around here knows him.

I called our local convenience store a week or so ago to check if they had something - sweet potatoes IIRC. The lady who answered said "I recognise your voice - you're the man with the dog".

There are dozens of dogs around here.
Max attracts attention.

That's true. Both ways. I know I've posted this before. Having a dog requires responsibility and commitment. You have to put the effort in - but you get rewarded ten times over.

For me, Max is just Max. He behaves like a gentleman. Other dog walkers sometimes ask me how I trained him to be like that. I tell them I didn't, he learned.
