Bull Fights

I tremble when I think of bull fights. I wonder if they are still legal in some countries....

How could humans antagonise an animal like that....

And what happen to the bull after the fight?

Another one is dog fights, I could not stand it, not even for a minute.......

Humans are so cruel........

As far as I know after a bull fight the remains are distributed among the poor.

They still have the bull run in Pamplona in Spain. I mad many visits to Spain on business. I happened to mention bullfighting to one of my business associates there. His comment shocked me.

"The bull gets everything. He only have one bad day."

Yes, Blue, he is killed by the Matador - after the pickadors, banderileos and toreadors have had their fun with him.

Usually, after a skillful fight, the ears are cut off and presented to the matador - sometimes the tail as well. How sick is that?

Tabs is right. The Matador kills the animal, afer relentless teasing and torture, much to the pleasure of the crowds. That is the whole idea of it.

I am sitting here shaking my head at the barbarity of these rituals in this day and age.

Why oh why they still let it go on is beyond my comprehension.
