However, that is not to say you have the right to condemn them to years of further austerity, because that is what it would mean. The cuts that you and I have seen in the last 7-8 years will be like a walk in the park in comparison.
I am relieved that you don't count me in the royal we.
Perhaps you could use the Pronoun 'one' (any person) eg 'one ought to make the effort to vote' instead of 'we'
