Amazing little creatures.....

I went to check on my plants this morning in the greenhouse and found this nest of tiny spiders which had literally appeared overnight suspended in a web between two pepper plants. What amazing little creatures spiders are...

I love spiders and couldn't bring myself to harm them, but as Mrs P wouldn't allow them to stay I took them outside and put them in a tree in the border..

Spiders would be okay if they stayed tiny, but they don't, they grow into hairy legged monsters.

Love that picture Pats, I get the same urge. Just imagine all those babies growing huge and invading the house. I would have had them taken in a car several miles & then deposited in a secure unit!

Ah Twiz - we sing the same song ...
I have measures to tackle the critters, a tube from Lakeland (battery operated) it hoovers the blighter up - open a window and 'flick' it out !!

We used to have a 'nest' like that Barry, that would appear near our climbing hydrangea - touch the 'nest' and they would run in all directions
Fascinating. Glad you found a good home for them
