Anthony Valentine died on Wednesday.He was 77 yrs old.Remember him in a few T.V. roles.He played a part in"Callan" with Edward Woodward. R.I.P.

Oh, that's so sad. I liked him in Raffles, where he was very suave but scary in Colditz.

I had a thing for him ... lovely fella, who played a great baddy and loveable rogue.

That's sad he was a good actor...

Have to confess that I had to Google an image of him, couldn't for the life of me connect the name to a face. He was very suave wasn't he, and made a wonderful "baddie". RIP AV

Oh what a shock ! I met Anthony in a coffee bar in Nottingham when I was in my teens and we had quite a good conversation over a cup of espresso coffee. He was appearing in a play, I think it was at the Theatre Royal (just round the corner from the coffee bar !) . He was such a pleasant unassuming young man, and very good-looking, and I had a 'thing' about him ever since then !!

R.I.P. Anthony, you went far too soon !

Sad news indeed. Anthony was in some of my favourite TV series:

A for Andromeda (1961), The Avengers (1967, 1968), Budgie (1971), Space: 1999 (1975), Minder (1979, 1980), Tales of the Unexpected (1980, 1982), Bergerac (1983), Robin of Sherwood (1984, 1985), Boon (1989) and Lovejoy (1986, 1991) .....
