I'm a grump. A morning person I am not. Don't even bother trying to talk to me until I've been awake for at least an hour.

Only grumpy at weekends, my only lay in time, if woken by a neighbour mowing his lawn or banging about in his garden at the crack of dawn. When I say crack of dawn I mean before 10am.

I HATE that. In summer my neighbor fires up the lawnmower at 8am on a Sunday morning and in winter I have to deal with listening to the snowblower. Then I've got bikers that live right across the street from me and I have to listen to their loud Harleys fire up early morning all damn summer long.

I'm glad we're moving eventually. I just pray I don't get NEW neighbors that are worse than the ones I already have.

I was never exactly one who hopped and skipped to work in the mornings, but since I retired I'm as happy as Larry when I get up in me own time.
