Re: salty things !!!!

I eat a large packet of crisps every week and some taste salty but others do not. I add very little salt to my food ordinarily.

Re: salty things !!!!

We gave up crisps because they seem to be so greasy and over salty.
SUNBITES are delicious and seem to be a healthier option...

Don't get me started on crisps! I adore the bbq ones and am trying to stop eating them. I therefore have to avoid Lidls at all costs.

I think as you cut down on salt when cooking at home then any salted snack tastes more salty.

Re: salty things !!!!

I went to Costco today and amongst all the food samples they were giving out were petit pois peas with a Knorr vegetable cube mixed in with them. The peas tasted so salty and I think it was the Knorr cube that caused the excessive salt taste. I thought food contained less salt these days?!

Re: salty things !!!!

I love plain Walkers crisps - or any other make, but I wipe excess salt off Walkers before eating. I don't suppose it makes much difference but unsalted food to me is completely tasteless.
