Re: salty things !!!!

I never cook with salt, but add a little onto my food. We tend to have a big bag of Pipers crisps when we go out for a drink, but nothing more than that.

Re: salty things !!!!

I like a bag of crisps occasionally, but buy the ones where you have to add the salt, which I don't do.

Read the comments and wondered...as you do..no one has mentioned yet if those chemical flavours , BBQ, cheese and onion and especially the salt and vinegar affect your tonques and make them sore !!!.

I thought it was just me.. being a bit odd like. I can't eat them as my tongue gets shredded so I make vegetable crisps and salt to taste.

Re: salty things !!!!

Hate salt. Why on earth do we eat it? Why do all the TV chefs throw it on like it's going out of fashion? It's not good for us (generally. I find it amusing that when people (always men, in my experience) go weak and wan at blood donor sessions they are treated with a packet of salty crisps! See, there's some use for everything)
