There was quite a lot of support for the Iraq war at the time. The chaps in my office were all for it, just like the Falklands. Marching about whistling the Dam Busters March. Tories all, of course! There's nothing like starting a war to get the votes. Personally, I believe wars should be fought by politicians since they start them.
