Email from .gov.uk

After signing an online petition a while back to stop overseas Aid, I received an email this morning telling me that the topic will be discussed today by politicians and will be live on TV.

It also says that ministers would like to hear my views on the subject before speaking and that I should post my comments on Twitter.

Generally speaking. I wonder how many people over the age of 50 use Twitter? The very people that want overseas Aid to stop.

To tell the truth I can't see what the point is. Hundreds of thousands of people wasting time sending messages that you just know will never be read. A lot of these messages sent in working time too, no wonder you can't through on the phone to big companies these days.

Sometimes a random few words will be quoted by some media muppet as from John of London, well that tells me a lot doesn't it, how many Johns are there in London

I use twitter and like it, a clever way too impart info quickly to fellow enthusiasts of my hobbies all locally based.
