No way because I never discuss politics or such with friends who have different views. In real life I am far more diplomatic than here! I like coming here because you can usually have an intelligent debate about current affairs. it's good to hear other views even if you don't agree & learn something new. But with friends I'm just interested in catching up and having a laugh.

Yes, I can understand that Surfermom and May.
I like to feel free to write whatever I want, and I'm not sure I would feel the same if family were watching me.

I was encouraged to come here. I only ever post on this forum l don't keep my forum life a secret and I have recommended here to a few people.I have one friend in particular who I would love to join here, her husband had a really bad stroke a few years ago and she is his carer. I know she gets lonely and here would be good for her but she has this notion like many others of our generation that the internet is for crackpots.
Maybe she is right perhaps we are all crackpots
