You say you are a communist, but take you back 30 years, living a life, possibly wanting wife, kids, home etc, how did you see how communism would work for you?
And by that Im not implying you aren't living a life. but life in our 30s and 40s is so different to our lives now

No thatnideal of home, wife and kids passed me by. I was deeply involved in the trade union move,ent and had meetings to attend several times per week. In addition I was co-founder of a neighbourhood Law Centre which also required lots of my attention throughout the week and at weekends too, plus there were trade union executive meetings in London every two months on saturdays.
Did you have a happy traditional childhood and would you say you have had a happy life
Yes Summer darlin' a traditional, but somewhat 'busy' childhood. When my Grandmother became frail, my Father and I took it in turns to visit and do her shopping for her (she lived up a quite steep hill). Gran used to make fabulous Bread puddings!!!
