I see that Ed Davey as secured the leadership of what remains of the Lib-Dems (hardly worth the effort is it? ). After Layla Moron's, beg pardon Moran's idea of giving the vote to 11-year-olds (the only age group stupid enough to vote for them), Ed Davey has come out with a real corker. He said that he wants to appeal to Brexiters and has sent Boris Johnson a `dire warning` over Brexit.

What an idiot, he still doesn't get it and can't understand why his party almost got wiped out at the last election. I look forward to them sinking without trace even further.

I think it is sad that a once credible political party has totally lost its way over the last few years and it doesn't look to be going anywhere for the foreseeable future with Davey in charge .

They do "get it". There are a significant number of the electorate who would happily rejoin. If the libdems are the only part with a clear mandate to rejoin, then they will attract this section of the electorate and increase the number of seats in parliament and possibly hold any government to ransom at times.

Harsh. In fairness, they are giving those who wish for re-membership somewhere to place their cross, even though it will (in effect) be a wasted vote.
