We don't have any pets of our own, but we do have our daughter's dog here regularly so we have to be very careful of these pests. Slugs get into our kitchen throughout the summer and autumn, leaving their disgusting trails everywhere. We're forever having to get rid of them and disinfect everything, ugh. It's an old house and we've minutely gone round filling any gaps between floor and walls, but they still get in somehow. I just don't understand why they do.
