Yes, you can always tell when one of those is about to start. It's the typically gushy music and the pained, feeling-sad voice over.

Pathetic.

OFF, straight away. I can't stand it.

Re: Adverts

I so agree with Pesta about a programme only seems to on for 10 mins before the blessed ads come on, and they go on for longer and longer.
There will be more ads than programme soon!

I am another one who mutes them too, and in particular that bloke with his cordless vacuum cleaners, I wish he's shove 'em.
Another one I can't stand is that stoopid American bloke doing the car sales ads - is it 'Enterprise'?

I've come to the conclusion that I haven't seen most of the adverts that have been described here.
That's HTV for You!

I have to admit to having a bit of a penchant for the "YOU'RE SOOOO MONEY SUPERMARKET.COM" adverts

Re: Adverts

I don't normally watch any adverts but just now the Specsavers one came on with the man turning off the lights in the museum...I looked up and said to my son "I don't get it, rewind and play it again!"

So he did, and I put my tele glasses on, and it's FUNNY!!!

Re: Adverts

That one advertising phlegm masquerading as a French cheese with the voice-over of an apparent Frog extolling its virtues (if any) is really irritating. Don't know if he's a genuine Frog doing the voice or some English actor impersonating a Frog. Either the way, it's bloody annoying.
